PodAdmin 0.3 Released
After Mike’s presentation on Podcasting in January, I thought a little about how it might be difficult for some to put together an XML podcast subscription file. So I wrote some software to do it. PodAdmin uses PHP and MySQL and provides a web-based interface for offering MP3 files via a podcast subscription.
Upload your new episode via web form, PodAdmin will then grab the title and description from the ID3 tags and generate a new RSS feed on your website. Optionally you can specify the title and description if it is not embeded in your audio file. Then all you need to do is link to the generated RSS file. PodAdmin can be used with any website, no matter what content management system you use, or none at all.
